The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won in the polling unit of Gbenga Daniel, Director General of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation.

Sahrarareporters reported how Daniel directed members of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to vote for the APC in the governorship election in Ogun State, against Buruji Kashamu, the PDP governorship candidate.

Kashamu’s candidature had been rejected by the national leadership of the PDP, as they had preferred Oladipupo Adebutu, whose candidature was eventually overturned by several court rulings.

However, in what appears to be delivering on his promise to support APC, Daniel's polling unit went to the APC.

In his Olukokun polling unit at Isote, Makun, Sagamu, PDP got only 13 votes against APC’s 150 votes.

Meanwhile, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) secured 96 votes.
