Despite the claim of Isiaka Oyetola, the Osun State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), that there was nothing like voter inducement in the ongoing election, SaharaReporters has succeeded in establishing that vote buying flourished at Unit 1, Ward 2, where Oyetola himself voted. 

Unlike the usual way of sharing money publicly, voters were induced to write their names and show their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

SaharaReporters was at the scene where people were asked to be patient and register their names with their PVCs.  A tall, dark-complexioned man was in charge of organizing voters in front of the building where money would be shared.
