Reno Omokri, former social media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has questioned President Muhammadu Buhari’s return to the country, saying Yemi Osinbajo achieved more in 10 days as the Acting President than the President himself did in three years.
On Friday August 3, Buhari embarked on a 10-day vacation to the UK, which ended on Saturday, but Omokri, the self-dubbed ‘Tormentor of Muhammadu Buhari and the APC’, has suggested that the country would be best served having Osinbajo rather than Buhari presiding over its affairs.
“In just 10 days of being in office as acting President, VP Osinbajo has achieved more than Buhari has in 3 years,” he wrote on his social media accounts on Saturday night.
“He improved the security situation by sacking the incompetent Daura and overhauling SARS. For the first time in months, there were no herdsmen killings and Boko Haram bombings. Why did Buhari have to return?”
